Tele-centers: Code of Conduct

The followings are to be applied in all the telecenter of the SVU and are to be abided by all the SVU students accordingly.
  • Smoking, eating and having any other drinks but water are forbidden. Students may use the available telecenters specified places for snacks.

  • Students should follow computer reservation rules in the telecenters.

  • Students should leave their computers at the end of the reservation period (maximum: 150 minutes).

The reservation period may be extended when the computer is not reserved by another student or no student is in line. Priority is given to students who have their classes in-session.

To avoid clashes with other students, a computer should not be reserved to follow a class in-session unless there are computers unused. Students should make sure that they reserve a computer in advance for pre-scheduled classes.

  • Students should use the telecenters for studying purposes only. Students are not allowed to visit entertainment websites.

Students who log into forbidden websites will be asked to leave the center.

  • Students who violate the above mentioned rules are warned and a report is sent to the registrar office. Repeated violations lead to expulsion from SVU.
