On the 22nd of January 2004, Dr.Najeeb Abdul-Wahed, deputy minister of higher
Education for scientific research affairs opened an Academia Exhibition at Damascus Meridien.

The SVU team welcomed Dr.Abdul-Wahed and explained to him about the new specializations and new tuitions offered by the SVU, in addition to the distinguished services and the new telecenters which were operated recently.

Before continuing his tour, the deputy minister expressed his appreciation of the university and its recognized services provided to Syria and the whole region in general.

The SVU participation was important and impressing, as the SVU recognized pavilion which attracted more than 400 visitors during four days as from 22nd till the 25th of January.

Our pavilion enjoyed the privilege of offering the internet linkage at any time so that the visitor was able to contact the SVU's website, searching the wide database available for the SVU offered programs; even more able to fill and send the registration application online, while surrounded with SVU representatives.
