SVU President signs accord with the Private University of sciences and Arts:

In April 1, 2004, an agreement was signed by the cooperation of Dr. Riad Al Dawodi, President of the Syrian Virtual University (SVU) and Dr. Farid Jawale, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the private University of Sciences and Arts.
The Agreement provides development for new curriculum in Arabic Language, which will be given to the level of Bachelors in Architecture and other specializations which will be defined later on.

The Agreement will also increase the number of the students in the SVU and the number of the Arabic Programs which will be offered by the SVU.

According to this agreement the SVU and the private University will hold training courses for teachers and employees on how to use up-to-date technology in the SVU.

This Agreement has wide interests for both sides such as:

1. To increase the number of the students in SVU and to widen the vital scope of the programs offered by the Private University of Sciences & Arts.
2. To increase the number of programs offered in Arabic Language by SVU and the Private University of Sciences & Arts.
3. Mutual Tele centers between SVU and the Private University of Sciences & Arts.
4. Common Marketing Campaign.  

The private University of Sciences & Arts opened in the month of September, 2003, in the city of Allepo, with the promulgation of the Degree – No. (345); headed by the President of the University, Dr. Abdul Al Rawoof Al Kassem.
Dr. Farid Jawale, the Chairman of the Board of the Trustees; headed to making the decisions of the Administration and the Academic departments.
