Board of trustees
The Board of Trustees consists of nine members, at least, who are scientifically competent specialized professors and distinguished Syrian, Arab as well as foreign dignitaries in various fields
Mission and duties
Putting the general strategy of the university and devising its scientific policy.
Reviewing, discussing, and evaluating the work and achievements of the university, and proposing their developmental mechanism.
Proposing the university’s draft budget.
Approving the appointment of the vice presidents and the deans of colleges, institutes and heads of departments.
Approving the establishment of colleges and institutes.
Approving the University’s internal statute, Financial System, Rules of Procedure, and Bylaws.
Accepting endowments, donations, contributions, and financial aid, offered to the university in accordance with the applicable laws and effective regulations.
